SELECTING FROM THE MAIN MENU
Firstly you have the option to let the ToolKit automatically install all the adb/fastboot drivers that your device needs to function and communicate with [Option1]. There is also a link to manual instructions on installing drivers if the automatic method doesnt work or if you prefer to do it yourself.
You can now use the ToolKit to backup your apk’s and associated user data so if you are Unlocking your device for the first time or switching roms you can back up everything and then restore it at a later date putting your device back the way it was [you will still have to set the widgets back on the homescreens]. You can even back up your devices Internal Storage [SD Card] along with your apps although this seemed a bit buggy in testing and may not back up everything.
In the backup otions you can also backup your /data/media folder [virtual SD Card] using adb. This is a much safer method to use if you need to know your data is backed up before Unlocking your Bootloader.
If you want to flash Custom Roms straight away, download the Rom first and copy it across to your device [to the Internal Storage]. You can then just Unlock the Bootloader and Flash CWM. Then enter CWM Recovery straight away [use the Volume buttons to scroll to Recovery and press the Power button to select] and Flash your your new Rom.
If you just want to Root then you can simply unlock the bootloader and Root your device without having to rename the recovery restore file or flashing cwm.
You can always re-run the ToolKit and flash CWM at a later date or flash CWM via the Rom Manager [free from Market].
1-CLICK FOR ALL [Option8] will do everything you need to do in 1 simple step. On a Stock Rom it will Unlock the Bootloader, Root the device, rename the recovery restore file if present flash CWM Recovery and install Busybox automatically and the only thing you need to do is to Enable USB debugging which is in settings, developer options after the first boot. The ToolKit will then do the rest.
If you want to Flash a Google Factory Rom to return everything to Stock then select Option9. Follow the information on screen and it will reflash EVERYTHING that you need to return your device for warranty purposes or just to have a pure Google Stock Rom. This is essentially the same as unRooting your device if it is already rooted. If sending your device back REMEMBER to Relock the Bootloader afterwards.
You can also use the ToolKit to ReLock your Bootloader, Reflash your Stock Recovery Image back to your device, Boot directly into Custom Recovery without flashing it, Flash/Boot .img files, Push/Pull files and Set File Permissions, backup the Radio Image on your device to your PC, dump LogCat and BugReport files to your PC and modify different aspects of your device via the Mods Section.
