I had previously updated TWRP recovery to 2.8 but have found this version has a problem with adb support whilst in recovery. This is a major function the toolkit uses for installing root and other files so a downgrade was needed. If anyone has more information about this please let me know.
A new public version of the Unified Android Toolkit should be released within the next week [1.3.3] to add new devices to the supported list and the public device modules will then be updated to the latest versions.
